Favorite tournament memory: The ridiculousness of playing through 6 inches of mud in the drainage field of a hospital and getting hosed down by fireman at Centex 2015.

Why I love Woman Scorned: Woman Scorned is made great by of all of the wonderful, goofy people!
Why I love Coach K: His awkward giggle that he does once in a blue moon.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: THOR!!!

Position: Handler and Cutter
Favorite tournament memory: All halftime parties including, but not limited to: music, dancing, bubbles, hula-hoops, and karaoke. Bonus when the other team joins.
Favorite pump up song: Somewhere between Believe by Cher and B.O.B. by Outkast
Why I love Woman Scorned: The culture of hard work and fun as well as our constant need for Asian cuisine and buffets.
Why I love Coach K: What's not to love.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Phoenix from X-men. Those telekinetic and telepathic abilities though.

Favorite tournament memory: My favorite tournament memory of this year was when Lana used her car as a huge Boomi and blasted Taylor Swift during halftime. And then we proceeded to have a pretty epic dance party. ALSO, all the Chinese buffets (especially that super amazing one in Kansas, seriously nicest one I have ever been to).
Favorite pump up song: Halo - Beyonce
Why I love Woman Scorned: I love the quirkiness of Woman Scorned. We all just let our freak fly. It's great.
Why I love Coach K: I love how patient he is with us. Seriously, Coach Kev is the best.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: ElastiGirl. I imagine her mark would be quite good.

Kaitlyn Christiansen (#73)

Favorite tournament memory: Taking home 3 bunches of bananas and a dozen bagels from ATP. And watching the Scorned alumni play.
Favorite pump up song: All Star- Smash Mouth
Why I love Woman Scorned: To be honest, I was nervous to join a team with people from so many different states and backgrounds. But everyone works hard and wants to have fun; we mix together well and work as a team.
Why I love Coach K: He encourages everyone to work hard. Instead of comparing everyone, he recognizes personal goals.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: The Powerpuff Girls because they'd bring sugar, spice and everything nice.


Megan Halverson (#5)

Favorite tournament memory: When everything goes right and the flow is there.
Favorite pump up song: Anything country :)
Why I love Woman Scorned: That we are all goofballs and love ultimate.
Why I love Coach K: That he's very serious all the time. It's funny.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Flash because he would outrun everyone and we would always score.


Taylor Reth (#14)

Favorite tournament memory: Camping out at Grinnell for the first tournament.
Favorite pump up song: Don't really have one.
Why I love Woman Scorned: The team is very friendly and very helpful. They are always teaching me how to do things better and trying to make me a better player. They come together like my old cross country team did to form a family.
Why I love Coach K: He is really helpful and always giving me tips on how to be a better player.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Flash, because then the disc will never touch the ground. He would always be able to get the disc from the team as well.

Abby Poplawski (#10)
You can call me: Abby, A-bae-bae
Hometown: Hawthorn Woods, IL
Position: Cutter
Favorite tournament memory: Not 100% sure about location, but I think it was in Wisconsin. Both teams took some extra time during a time-out to make sure a field mouse wouldn't get run over by any players. It was awesome seeing people use a disk to guide the little guy out of the danger zone.
Favorite pump up song: Any BTS song
Why I love Woman Scorned: I love how we're so positive on and off the field and how that spreads to our opponents when we play in tournaments. It makes the whole experience even better.
Why I love Coach K: Among many things, I like the 'tencity he brings to practice/tournaments.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Hawkeye, because of his accuracy and hand-eye coordination.


Megan Jameson (#24)

Favorite tournament memory: Playing in the mud at Centex!

Why I love Woman Scorned: I love Woman Scorned because we are all goofballs!
Why I love Coach K: K money is an ultimate god.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: My alter ego, Megman. My superpower is the super stare which I would use to intimidate every foe.

If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl) because of her ability to stretch and she could grab disks high in the air or out of reach of others!

Why I love Woman Scorned:I love getting to know everyone and practice with them.

Rachel Bates (#52)

Favorite tournament memory: One of my first tournaments that I ever played as a handler and it was super windy. I hucked the disc to Cami, who caught it, (though it was a pretty sketchy throw), then I proceeded to run down the field and into the end zone where Cami threw it to me for the score.

Why I love Coach K: That he chooses to use his precious time coaching delinquents like us.

Caitlin Durston (#20)

Favorite tournament memory: My favorite tournament memory has to be the Wisconsin Bella-Donna game at regionals my freshman year. We were playing in the semi-finals and both teams laid it out on the field. The intensity and the excitement that filled the air was an amazing culmination of all the work that everyone had put in that season. Also winning was pretty fun.
Favorite pump up song: Heavydirtysoul by Twenty One Pilots
Why I love Woman Scorned: Woman Scorned is a passionate group of women who push me to be the best person I can be on and off of the field.
Why I love Coach K: Kevin shows up to practice everyday with the hope of making us a more cohesive team as well as better players individually. There is nothing more you can ask for in a coach, he crushes it every day. Kevin is #squadgoals
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Storm, because when she would do the wind dance it would actually work.


Emma Lorenz (#11)

Favorite tournament memory: Playing Notre Dame at MWT.

Why I love Woman Scorned: Our weird but loving family.

If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Flash, he could run fast a catch anything.

Favorite tournament memory: When we played in a bloody mud bath at Centex '15. I really enjoyed peeling dead fire ants off of my legs.

Why I love Woman Scorned: The amazing group of people I get to call my teammates AND my friends.
Why I love Coach K: He's one of the biggest sources of laughter on the team. The best part is he doesn't even do it on purpose. Kmoney.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Batman because who doesn't like Batman. We might play better in capes too.

Why I love Woman Scorned: Our team chemistry!
Why I love Coach K: He is so incredibly knowledgeable and has amazing field vision. Also, his laugh is fantastic.
If I could pick any superhero to play on Woman Scorned, I'd pick: Batman. But, the Christian Bale version because he's a hunk, am I right? He'd be good at marking with his cape and all...
