Yeah-eh-ah-eh-ahaaaa, It's a Party in the USA

In order to fulfill the blood binding pact that Jazz and I made, we were obligated to throw a birthday party on Wednesday night (worked out around prac and sprints, of course). The music was picked and the Facebook event was made. All was in order. Guest came from all directions-even as far as Wisconsin!

The day was great right from the start. Stine and I went to Indian Palace for some tasty birthday lunch. After class and work, the night was officially started off with a birthday dinner at none other than Hickory Park! Mikey, Schafbuch, Robyn, and Isaac made the most of it by insisting on getting the waitresses to sing the happy birthday to me, and we all shared the deliciously free ice cream.

While we were hitting up HP, Jazz and Stine were treating our other Eau Claire visitors (Brit and Martha) to some food on Welch. Shortly after dinner, it was time to start the party up. There were the usual card games, dance offs, showing Archie’s tricks off, disc races, and random shenanigans. After several hours at the LLC, we decided it was necessary to head to the station. We found many more people at the regular hang out spot and more mingling was done. The night ended with an epic story that Robyn can tell much better than myself, but basically I had the grand idea to rearrange my room and Robyn ended up with a 250 pound bookshelf (which is no longer in one piece) pinning her against the wall while I laughed.

Overall I would have to say that the birthday was a great success. The rest of the week involved more celebrating (even after midnight Thursday practice because the EC people didn’t leave), and birthday week was done right!

My birthday gifts received:
From: Annihka- a dinosaur tattoo
Daisy- a lap dance that I have yet to receive
Casey- drank a disc in my honor (well half)
Robyn- a male escort

Soooo, I’m not going to bore you with any stories about myself-mostly because everyone already knows them (getting bit by a bald eagle?). But I will tell you a little bit about myself. I am a graduating senior, majoring in Animal Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine. I absolutely love my classes, and I also enjoy telling everyone I know about the weird medical facts and the sweet animal production stats. I CAN NOT WAIT until the day that I have a “dr.” before my name...but seriously I am very excited about veterinary school.

I didn’t start college as a Frisbee player (actually I was a wrestling manager), but the amazing Rachel Bottjen made me come to practice one night, I puked afterward, my first tourney was the epic SB ‘08, and I have been hooked ever since! I am not your average Ultimater-I am on time (even early sometimes), I hate wearing jerseys, I love country music, and I am in no way a hippie- but I love the game and the way of life! My favorite thing about ultimate is meeting people, especially when it’s through friendly trash talk in games. That is a true bond.

I love playing for Woman Scorned. It has opened up doors I could have never foreseen, and I have made some of the best friends of my life! These ladies are awesome-we go from running ravaging sprints, playing heart bursting games, to way over-celebrating life-all along the way they know how to have a great time!

Well that is enough about me. If you want to know more, just ask.
