Being from the same spawn to be capable of mutant hips and table tennis wrists, Magon Liu steps on the field and makes you step up and notice her. She hails as one of those fluid players a person can't help but think to themselves "she was meant and made to play the game of Ultimate."
Although I didn't start out as the big brother teaching her forehands in the backyard, it's my honor to know "Magical" Magon Liu from before as a high school player who often showed up with more regularity then our current rostered players. Stepping into her first season with Women Scorned in 2008-2009, she stepped into an always desired handler role and with that she helped her fellow ladies into their first Nationals tournament berth. But don't get me wrong, Magon loves to cut for the team whenever possible and makes herself look like the stud she is when she does. "Dragon" Liu has also got some real soft hands to make some really swilly catches on the run. This lady can also have some of the prettiest and sickest layouts to get even the most notable of blog writers to make a mention of her. Not only that but Magic nailed down her first of what will be many honors as the second team "Freshmen of the Year" in the Central Region last year.
I wouldn't want to try to list the number of nicknames this girl possesses although "Magic" and "Dragon" are my first favorites. "Magon" as defined by Urban Dictionary, is: "A monkey and a dragon who fused together, which were born from a liger which is a mystical creature with awesome powers of defense!"
It does take a lot of names to describe awesomeness.
Magon who? Magon Liu!
